As I continue and conclude with the subject matter of Reward (s) for our Difficult Times, Galatians 6:9 says, “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” When we think about seasons we often think about the four seasons being that of Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall. However, with God there is a fifth season known as Due Season. If we don’t faint, lose heart, or give up, we will reap a rewarding future. Please understand also, our Reward (s) will not just be in Heaven but we will be Rewarded even in this life down here on Earth.
Don’t just focus on material and tangible things as our Rewards. These are some things that will come with the territory as we do God’s will and allow Him to order our steps. You see, when you are Faithful and Fruitfulto and for the Lord you will receive His Divine Favor. Yes, it is His will for us to prosper in all aspects. Then too, what about the Rewards of having Love, Peace and Joy? Even some of the wicked and people of the world have material and tangible things but none of them really and truly have the Rewards of love, peace and joy. Truthfully speaking, you can only have these through Jesus Christ.
When I think about love, there is no love like God’s love. When you have His love, no matter what you go through you can make it and keep standing. Regardless of who comes in or out of your life, when you have God’s love, you can conquer all. Also, when I think about peace, He can give you peace not only about the storm but even in the storm. Then too, he can speak peace to the storm. It’s something when everyone else is in panic mode but you have a peace that surpasses and supersedes all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
Then too, when I think about joy, we can have joy in spite of. In spite of what we’ve been through, going through, or will go through. The joy of the Lord is our strength (Nehemiah 8:10b.). Not only that, but God wants our joy to be full. What a blessing to have as Rewards, love, peace and joy and not be pressed down by being depressed and negatively stressed. The world, Devil, and circumstances will try to take these things away from you but they won’t be able to because the Lord gave them to you.
In closing, God Rewards us in different ways but rest assure, He will Reward us. Be encouraged and continue to endure. Don’t throw in the towel or operate based off of your feelings but only by the way God the Father is leading and directing you (Read Proverbs 3:5-7). Remember, it’s not about how we feel but it’s about doing God’s will. That’s the safest place to be, in the will of God. When you do it His way, believe me, He will keep on making away. He will bless you beyond measure and beyond your biggest dreams. Hang on in there. Keep standing strong. He has more blessings and Rewards with your name on them. To God Be The Glory!
